For the iconic coupe released in 1966, the auction organizers expect to receive at least 12 million dollars.
"This Ford has undergone a full restoration and has been returned to its original condition, which will be a decisive argument for the future owner. This GT40 is forever inscribed in history as one of the three Ford cars that managed to defeat Ferrari," says the annotation to the lot.
The sports Ford GT40 is equipped with a seven-liter V8 engine with individual tuning, producing 490 horsepower.
