Hyundai has officially announced the creation of a special division for high-performance cars and motorsport.
The new Hyundai High Performance Vehicle & Motorsport Division will focus exclusively on "hot" versions of cars under the Hyundai brand. At the same time, the Kia and Genesis brands will not be involved in the work of this structure.
The new department will be headed by Thomas Schemera, a specialist from Germany. Previously, he led the American divisions of BMW, responsible for the M and Individual directions.
