The new Touareg will feature the innovative Innovision Cockpit digital interior, whose main elements will be two impressive displays, 12 and 15 inches in size. The first screen is responsible for the instrument panel, and the second, larger one, turned towards the driver, is for the multimedia system. The interior design will likely be a kind of symbiosis of the interiors of the latest Audi models and the Arteon hatchback.
In addition, the manufacturer has revealed some technical details of the "third" Touareg, and also published several photos of a camouflaged pre-production example.
The crossover will be based on the MLB Evo platform, along with which the model will get active anti-roll bars and a fully steerable chassis with rear-wheel steering.
The world premiere of the new Volkswagen Touareg will take place on March 23 at the Beijing Auto Show.
