Information about the new Picanto was first released in the early days of January, but full technical specifications have only become available now.
In addition to the already announced length (3595 mm), other dimensions are now known: the width of the Picanto is 1595 mm, and the height is 1485 mm. The luggage compartment capacity has increased to 255 liters, which is 50 liters more than the previous figure.
The range of power units has been expanded with a new three-cylinder turbocharged engine with a displacement of one liter, developing 100 horsepower. In addition, two naturally aspirated options remain available for the hatchback: 1.0 liter (67 hp) and 1.2 liters (84 hp). Transmissions are a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
Sales of the third-generation Picanto will start closer to the end of spring. The price of the car has not yet been announced.
