Order acceptance for the Dodge Viper sports car has been discontinued

This year, production of the Viper will come to an end, and the model will finally disappear from the market, leaving no direct successor.

Those who want to purchase the final versions of this sports car need not worry — one of the American dealers has placed an order for a solid batch of 135 cars.

The main reason for discontinuing the model is its non-compliance with current safety standards: in particular, the Viper lacks the ability to install side airbags in the windows.
