Further work of the State Enterprise "SMAP" has been deemed impractical, since in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, the functions of issuing permits for international freight and passenger transportation, as well as control over them, are transferred to Ukrtransinspektsiya. The State Inspection of Ukraine for Safety on Land Transport will begin performing its duties immediately after the process of its formation is completed.
It is worth noting that according to Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "On Management of State Property Objects", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approves decisions of authorized management bodies regarding the creation, reorganization, or liquidation of state sector enterprises that are of strategic importance for the economy and security of the country.
