The video shows a first-generation Range Rover Evoque. The car entered the car wash, and the brushes started working — in general, nothing foreshadowed problems. However, at a certain moment, the crossover's tailgate opened — someone accidentally activated the button.

Immediately after that, soapy water got into the cabin, but this turned out to be not the most serious consequence (although it depends on how you look at it). When the rotating brushes ended up under the open tailgate and then began to rise upward, it became obvious that the car risked losing its fifth door.

In the end, that's exactly what happened: the brushes damaged the door hinges and twisted the lid itself. Notably, neither the driver nor the car wash workers noticed the raised tailgate and did not stop the cleaning process.

The video of the incident quickly went viral after a TikTok user under the nickname gendosthor posted it on social media. Where and when this incident occurred is unknown, but European license plates can be seen on the Evoque.
