Uncustomed cars with foreign plates are a problem not only for Ukraine. The Philippines has its own "plates," but they are treated much more harshly than in our country. Cars are confiscated and scrapped – this was ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte back in 2017.

As Road and Track reports, this time in the capital of the Philippines, Manila, an excavator crushed 21 cars with a total value of 1.2 million dollars. The most exclusive among them are the track-focused supercar McLaren 620R, the luxurious Bentley Flying Spur sedan, and the Porsche 911 Carrera coupe.

Also in the photos and videos, you can spot Lotus Elise and Mercedes-Benz SLK roadsters. All cars were imported in 2018-2020 in violation of customs legislation. For the McLaren alone, the Philippine budget lost 300 thousand dollars in taxes and fees.
