It is known that the accident occurred on the territory of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Command "Center" at night, on March 10. As reported by the public relations service, the car collided with the aircraft during the latter's towing after the end of the flight shift. Apparently, everything happened on the runway.
During the impact, both participants of the accident caught fire, but fortunately, the fire was quickly contained by the military unit's fire department. The driver of the car was injured and received medical assistance. The circumstances of the accident are now being investigated by law enforcement, and the military has also initiated its own internal investigation.
Social media users reacted differently to the "accident of the year," but most left sarcastic comments. For example, in the post on the Facebook page "Kyiv Operative," which published the relevant news, the following reactions can be seen:
