However, these are not all the surprises. So, if the second generation Movano was a rebadged Renault Master, the new generation is already built on the basis of the Fiat Ducato (also known as the Citroen Jumper and Peugeot Boxer). Let us remind you that Opel, Fiat, Citroen, and Peugeot have recently become part of one concern – Stellantis.

The Opel Movano-e electric van is equipped with a motor producing 90 kW/122 hp and 260 Nm, with a top speed of 110 km/h. Two batteries are available – with capacities of 37 and 70 kWh, in the first case the range is 117 km, in the second – 224 km. By the way, the Ducato also has an electric version, but there are larger batteries – 47 and 79 kWh (range – 159 and 260 km respectively). Why Opel's characteristics were reduced is not reported – possibly for economic reasons (they will offer the new product cheaper).

As for fuel versions, there are two diesel engines to choose from – both 2.2 turbo, but with different power – 120 hp and 165 hp (torque – 300 and 370 Nm respectively). The internal combustion engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, drive – only front.

The Opel Movano has several "body" versions – four different wheelbase options and three height options. The cargo compartment volume varies from 8 to 17 cubic meters, payload – up to 2100 kg (the Ducato has up to 2200 kg). There are also separate chassis modifications for mounting "boxes".

The car's equipment includes an automatic braking system, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and more.
Sales of the new Opel Movano will begin at the end of this year.
