In this budget, mostly cars from 2006-2014 with naturally aspirated petrol engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.5 liters are available.
"For a budget of up to $9,000, the optimal choice remains crossovers with naturally aspirated MPI engines and the simplest possible all-wheel drive system," notes the author of the material, Oleksiy Astapov.
1. Hyundai Tucson 2008

The Hyundai Tucson from 2006-2010 offers a 2.0-liter G4GC with 141 hp. The all-wheel drive uses an electromagnetic coupling with the possibility of forced locking at low speed. Among the model's advantages are inexpensive maintenance and a durable suspension.
2. Mitsubishi Outlander XL 2008

The Mitsubishi Outlander XL from 2007-2010 can be found with a naturally aspirated 2.4 4B12 producing 170 hp. The engine has a timing chain. The all-wheel drive system allows selecting 2WD, 4WD Auto, and Lock modes. The model also stands out for its spacious interior and capacious trunk.
3. Suzuki Grand Vitara 2007

The Suzuki Grand Vitara from 2006-2010 was equipped with naturally aspirated 2.0 J20A and 2.4 J24B engines. Its main distinguishing feature is permanent all-wheel drive with a low-range gear and center differential lock.
4. Nissan X-Trail 2008

The Nissan X-Trail T31 from 2007-2010 is available with petrol engines 2.0 MR20DE and 2.5 QR25DE. The All-Mode 4x4-i system has a Lock mode. Most cars are equipped with a Jatco CVT, but versions with a 6-speed manual are also found.
5. Renault Duster 2012
