The electric AUDI E5 Sportback, created by Audi together with the Chinese SAIC, after being imported to Germany turned out to be approximately €28,000 cheaper than the European Audi S6 Sportback e-tron. At the same time, the Chinese model has significantly more power. This is reported by the head of the supervisory board at the National University "Kyiv Aviation Institute" Petro Chernyshov.
The Chinese AUDI E5 offers 787 hp and costs less

In China, the dual-motor AUDI E5 Sportback with 787 hp costs about €28,000. In September 2026, the independent German dealer Auto China began importing such electric vehicles along with the AUDI E7X crossovers.
According to the author, after EU import duties, 19% German VAT, logistics costs and European certification, the price of the AUDI E5 Sportback in Germany is about €71,400.
