In August 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was joined by almost 4,700 used passenger cars from the USA. Compared to the same month in 2025, demand for such cars decreased by 8%. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
Used cars from the USA: gasoline models account for 46% of the market
The largest share among cars imported from the USA with mileage was made up of gasoline cars - 46%. Second place went to electric vehicles with a result of 33%.
Hybrids accounted for another 15% of registrations. Diesel cars and vehicles with LPG accounted for 3% each. The average age of all "Americans" imported during August was 5.7 years.
The most popular American cars were topped by two Tesla models
In the top five most popular used cars manufactured in the USA, the first two positions went to Tesla electric vehicles. The difference between Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3 was only 13 cars.
Tesla Model Y - 484 cars;
Tesla Model 3 - 471 cars;
Ford Escape - 408 cars;
BMW X3 - 306 cars;
Nissan Rogue - 266 cars.
Thus, among the five most in-demand models, two are Tesla electric vehicles, and the remaining positions belong to the Ford Escape, BMW X3, and Nissan Rogue crossovers.
