The most popular way to resell cars turned out to be the Diia app — over 18 thousand transactions were conducted through it, which accounts for almost a quarter of the entire domestic market. Online car re-registration is becoming a common practice.

By region, Kyiv became the undisputed leader — 8.5 thousand transactions. It was followed by Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, and Lviv regions. In the middle of the ranking, the most active were Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

The fewest resales were recorded in Donetsk and Kherson regions — there the market is significantly limited due to proximity to the combat zone and the temporary occupation of part of the territories.

As for the first registrations of used cars, Lviv region leads here — almost 3.8 thousand cars. This region has actually become the main gateway for imports, even ahead of the capital, where such registrations amounted to 3.1 thousand.

In third place is Rivne region (1.8 thousand) — its indicators are consistently high due to its location near the border and well-established logistics of car deliveries.

Next come Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, and Odesa regions. Interest in recently imported cars is also noticeable in Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi regions, and even in frontline Kharkiv.

In the segment of new cars, the undisputed leader is Kyiv, which accounts for about 40% of all sales in the country. It is worth noting that the main offices of leasing companies and large corporations are concentrated in the capital, so some of these cars later go to other regions.

Next are Dnipropetrovsk region (7.7%) and Kyiv region (6.5%). The top ten included Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and Poltava — these are regions with the most stable demand and an extensive dealer network.

It is noteworthy that Rivne region, despite its confident leadership in imports, has one of the lowest shares of new car sales — less than 1%. This indicates that each region develops its own balance between new and used cars.
