Ukraine also demonstrates its own achievements in this area. In July 2025, the country sold 9.7 thousand electric vehicles — the figure grew by 9.8% compared to June and by 41.1% relative to July last year. The total number of electric cars in Ukraine reached 178 thousand, of which over 173 thousand are passenger cars.
During the first half of 2025, the volume of electric vehicle imports increased by 38%, reaching 42.7 thousand units. The largest share consists of used cars — over 33 thousand (45%), while about 9.6 thousand new ones were imported (19%). During the same period, Ukrainians purchased 31,753 electric cars, which is 30% more than a year earlier, with almost 30.8 thousand of them being passenger cars.
July was also a record month for the new electric vehicle segment: 1,686 units were sold, which is 11.7% more than the June result and 54.7% more than in July 2024. The share of electric cars in total new car sales rose to 25.1% compared to 18% a year earlier.
The European market is accelerating, and Ukraine is also stepping more confidently towards an electric future. Despite all the known difficulties, this cannot but please — we continue to live and believe in victory!
