The Japanese brand Toyota finished the month with the highest figure — 764 new cars. Compared to January 2023, sales of new Toyotas in Ukraine increased by 31 percent.
The second most popular spot was taken by Renault — 504 units. Thus, the French brand increased its last year's result by 2.6 times. The third place in the ranking was taken by Volkswagen — 476 units (+133%).
In the fourth position was Skoda — 312 units (+33%). Closing the top five of January is Nissan with an indicator of 188 cars, which is 4.6 times higher than last year's level. It is worth noting that, unlike January of the previous year, no premium brand made it into the leading five.
In addition, the top ten for the month included:
·Hyundai — 177 units (+11%);
·Suzuki — 160 units (−13%);
·Peugeot — 159 units (+657%);
·Lexus — 151 units (+66%);
·Mazda — 149 units (+54%).
The most popular car of January 2024 was the Renault Duster crossover, which was purchased by 479 buyers.
