Fedorov emphasized that this draft law is of great importance in the fight against corruption and can annually replenish the state budget by up to $150 million. For citizens, the car registration procedure will become much simpler — the entire operation will take no more than an hour.

It is worth noting that on February 2, the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada on finance, tax and customs policy approved draft law No. 10380, which provides for the possibility of customs clearance of cars through the Diia application.

If the document is adopted, drivers will only need to submit a customs declaration in the Diia system, indicating the VIN code of the vehicle. Part of the information will be pulled up automatically by the system, the rest will have to be entered manually. After that, it is necessary to pay customs payments, the amount of which the system will calculate automatically based on the data specified in the declaration.
