Car imports to Ukraine have significantly decreased compared to 2021 figures — the decline was 38%. At the same time, the total customs value of imported cars also decreased, and this drop reached a third.
The share of new vehicles in the total import volume turned out to be quite modest — only 10%. All other imported cars had mileage.
Top five among car supplier countries
1. Germany — more than 142.5 thousand cars, with a customs value of $729.3 million;
2. France — 41.1 thousand cars, valued at $131.5 million;
3. Japan — 34 thousand cars totaling $377 million;
4. USA — 33.9 thousand cars with a customs value of $468 million;
5. Poland — 26 thousand cars, the value of which reached $172 million.
