The most popular cars in Ukraine 2021
According to statistics published by the Ukrautoprom association, the highest demand in August among Ukrainians was for Renault cars – 1,274 units sold. However, on an annual basis, sales of cars of the French brand decreased, although slightly – by 4.5%. But some other brands showed huge growth, which, in fact, resulted in such encouraging statistics.
Thus, Toyota increased sales by 10% – (1,260 cars, 2nd place in the ranking), KIA – by 80% (840 cars, 3rd place), Nissan – by 59% (438 cars, 4th position), Skoda – by 49% (438 cars, closes the TOP-5), Mitsubishi – by 63% (373 units, 6th place).
However, the one that really surprised with growth was Chery – plus 151% (367 cars, 8th position). At the same time, there are also brands in the TOP that went into the minus – these are Volkswagen (-34%, 340 units, 7th place) and Suzuki (-4%, 297 units, 10th place). Only one brand from the permanent leaders remained more or less at the same level – Hyundai (9th place), it managed to sell 347 cars, which is 2% more than a year earlier.

The most popular car in August in our country was KIA Sportage – this crossover was chosen by 603 motorists. That is, it accounted for more than half of all Kia buyers.
Sales of new cars in Ukraine 2021
In total, over the first 8 months of 2021, 66.7 thousand new cars were sold in Ukraine. This is 27% more than in the same period last year.
