Available cars – Lada Granta

The Granta has very weak galvanization of the body, and corrosion is a common occurrence. The fastest to rust are the places under the sound insulation that are not covered with paint. The sills and the lower part of the doors last 2-3 years.

Budget class – Renault Logan/Sandero (2004-2012)

The first Logan and Sandero are also not very well protected against rust. Most often it appears on welded seams and at the bottom of the doors, sills and underbody.

Crossovers – Skoda Yeti

The Skoda Yeti rusts very quickly – corrosion spots were noted even during the warranty period. Notably, this is the only model of the Czech brand with such a problem.

Middle class – Mazda 6 (2002-2008)

For the first generation Mazda 6, corrosion was a real problem, while newer models are much less susceptible to it. In older sixes, corrosion appeared already after two or three winters of use, and after 100 thousand km of mileage the damage was already serious.

Premium class – Mercedes-Benz C-Class (2000-2005)

For Mercedes sedans of the beginning of the 21st century, corrosion is a common occurrence, and the C-Class W203 is most often affected. On later models, this problem was solved.

Leader – UAZ Patriot

On UAZ Patriot vehicles produced before 2018, rust is a common occurrence. It affects panel joints, bumpers, arches, the front of the hood, the bottom of the doors, sills, roof edges, front pillars, and especially the rear door under the license plate frame.
