No surprises happened: as before, white remains the leader in popularity for body color — 38% of new car buyers preferred it. White has held the top spot for ten years now.

The second position is occupied by black — 19% of cars, and the third by gray with 15%. Of course, the demand for a specific shade varies greatly depending on the region of the world. For instance, in China, 57% of new cars are painted white, while in Europe only 25% are (and the same share are gray).

The choice of color is also influenced by the car category. For example, in the business class, 62% of cars turn out to be black.
