The first model to roll off the assembly line in the German Sindelfingen will be the new Mercedes EQS, the brand's flagship electric vehicle. The liftback will be offered in two modifications: 476 and 612 horsepower. The range is approximately 500 kilometers.

Next, production of the Mercedes EQA and EQB will be launched at the plant in Beijing. These cars are electric versions of the Mercedes-Benz GLA and GLB crossovers, respectively.
Closer to the end of 2021, assembly of the Mercedes EQE will begin in Germany and China, which will compete with the Tesla Model 3. And in 2022, the US will start production of the EQS-SUV and EQE-SUV, electric counterparts of the Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS.
