Third place goes to the Volkswagen Polo — 162,924 cars sold, which is 4% more than the previous result. The fourth line is occupied by the Ford Fiesta with sales of 157,286 units (+1%). The top five is rounded out by the Nissan Qashqai crossover, which sold 134,547 units, showing a decline of 1%.

The top ten most popular models in the European market also include the Peugeot 208 (132,764 cars, +1%), Volkswagen Tiguan (129,237 cars, +1%), Skoda Octavia (123,710 cars, +3%), Renault Kaptur (121,235 cars, +8%), and Opel/Vauxhall Corsa (117,981 cars, -15%).
