2,247,485 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles were delivered to customers worldwide in the outgoing year, which corresponds to a growth of 6.1% compared to 2014.
2015 was a very difficult year for the whole of Ukraine and the automotive industry in particular, however, despite the noted decline in overall car sales, AVT Bavaria, the official importer of BMW Group in Ukraine, thanks to the best price offers and a balanced model range, demonstrated significant sales growth, thus achieving leadership in the premium segment. 1,716 vehicles, of which Kyiv sold 759, Odesa – 224, Kharkiv – 201, Dnipropetrovsk – 163 and Lviv – 154 BMW and MINI vehicles.
The most popular BMW cars in Ukraine for several years in a row remain BMW X5 and BMW X6. In 2015, 814 BMW X5 and 242 BMW X6 vehicles were delivered to Ukrainian customers.
Traditionally, the BMW 5 Series is in high demand; in 2015, 166 BMW 5 Series vehicles were delivered to customers. BMW X1 and BMW X3 sales were almost evenly split, totaling 199 vehicles.
BMW Group plans for 2016
In 2016, BMW Group will present the new BMW X4 M40i, the compact sports car BMW M2, as well as the new MINI Clubman, which opens the door to a new era of MINI. The BMW X4 M40i sets completely new standards in the field of perfectly honed handling and impressive dynamics, vivid driving emotions and the highest exclusivity in the Sports Activity Coupe segment.
The new BMW M2 Coupe is a combination of impressive dynamic characteristics, advanced technologies and excellent handling. The compact sports car is equipped with an improved inline three-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 370 hp at 6500 rpm and at the same time guarantees maximum efficiency.
The MINI model range of the newest generation continues to expand, and the new MINI Clubman strengthens its position in the premium compact segment. The new model offers the highest level of comfort and versatility, suitability for everyday trips and long-distance travel ever realized in a MINI.
In addition, by the end of 2016, BMW Group will present a new generation of the BMW 5 Series and, already familiar representative of the MINI family, the updated MINI Countryman.
