As reported by the public relations department of the capital's traffic police department, most often drivers violated the speed limit — 225 such cases were recorded. Also noted were 22 violations of intersection crossing rules, 21 cases of traffic violations by pedestrians, and one creation of an emergency situation.
Special attention is paid to driving under the influence: over the past day, 42 such violations were detected. Since the beginning of the year, under Article 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, district courts of Kyiv have issued 3,361 decisions, with drivers being deprived of licenses in 2,055 cases.
Over the day, 4 road traffic accidents occurred, in which 4 people were injured.
Car thefts:
In the Darnytskyi district, a gray Toyota Camry, 2004 year of manufacture, license plate AA6555CE, was stolen;
in the Obolonskyi district — a white VAZ-2103, 1975 year of manufacture, license plate 33129KH;
in the Solomianskyi district — a beige VAZ-21063, 1990 year of manufacture, license plate 56147KE.
In the Desnianskyi district, two men were detained at night who, on 28.09.2011 on Kyoto Street, 19, illegally took possession of a ZAZ-968 car. They were taken to the district department.
For document forgery, traffic police inspectors of the Solomianskyi district traffic police department detained a driver of a GAZ-31105, from whom a driver's license was seized that raised doubts about its authenticity. The man was also taken to the district police department.
In addition, the following were brought to district police departments: one person for illegal transportation and storage of drugs, one for theft, one for hooliganism, and one for intentional damage to property.
