The BMW 2-Series Active Tourer became the first minivan and the first front-wheel-drive car in the brand's history. Official information about the model was released before its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.
The exterior of the 2-Series is designed in the recognizable BMW style. The compact van's dimensions: length 4342 mm, width 1800 mm, height 1555 mm, wheelbase 2670 mm. The interior, following brand tradition, is oriented around the driver, ensuring a comfortable seating position and easy control.
The engine lineup includes three versions. The base model is the 218i with a 1.5-liter engine producing 136 hp and an average fuel consumption of 4.9 L/100 km. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.3 seconds. Next is the 225i with a two-liter four-cylinder engine producing 231 hp, accelerating the car to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The diesel modification 218d delivers 150 hp and 330 Nm of torque, with acceleration to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.
Available packages include Sport Line, Luxury Line, and M Sport. The latter includes a sport suspension, a ground clearance reduced by 10 mm, and an aerodynamic body kit.
Sales in Ukraine began in 2015.
