As already mentioned in the news about the suspension of Skoda car sales, on February 27 dealers received the corresponding order from the company "Eurocar". In a telephone conversation, they explained these actions by the strong fluctuation of the exchange rate. Car dealership managers indeed say that at the moment you can only get in line, but even having the full amount in cash, it is still impossible to buy a Skoda. There is no exact information when sales will resume.

At the Kyiv Mazda dealer, they stated that there are only three cars in stock, and it is not yet possible to place an order for the desired model, as there is no new price list. But the Honda dealer is ready to sell any car from its price list, and promises the client a special benefit from the deal, as prices are fixed at the rate of 8.2 per dollar.

Buying Mazda and Suzuki cars today is problematic. The company AVTO International has completely stopped sales, awaiting the stabilization of the exchange rate. Orders are also not accepted.

At Citroen, they reported that dealers across Ukraine continue to sell cars that they have already purchased. These cars are sold by dealers at different rates - depending on the date of purchase. The rate for these cars is 8.3 and 8.5 UAH per dollar. In addition, most of these cars are 2013 production, so they also have additional discounts of up to 30 thousand UAH. "You need to check with a specific dealer about the availability of cars, as they fly off like hot cakes," they say in the company, "True, until the beginning of March we suspended invoicing of new cars from our warehouse to dealers, as the situation with the exchange rate is indeed ambiguous."

With Hyundai, the situation is as follows. In LLC "Hyundai Motor Ukraine" we were told that the company adjusts prices daily, according to the current dollar rate, buying currency in a Ukrainian bank.

At "Peugeot Ukraine" they temporarily "froze" the sale of cars. "We will act according to the situation," the importer commented.

Here is how marketers of "Bogdan-Industriya" comment on the situation:
"Bogdan-Industriya has not stopped sales and buyers today have the opportunity to purchase cars at prices valid from 24.02.2014. But prices may be revised at any time, given the current market situation and the significant depreciation of the national currency."
As it became known, the Ford representative in Ukraine, Winner Imports Ukraine, is not yet importing 2014 cars. Moreover, orders are also not accepted. As for cars of last year's production, they can be bought subject to 100% prepayment. True, since March 1, Fords have risen in price - by 5%.

Yaroslav Vovk, director of the marketing and advertising department of "NIKO Management", reported a temporary suspension of car shipments to dealers. At the moment they are selling off their own warehouses.

The head of the marketing department of Toyota Center Kyiv Avtosamit on Stolichny, Vitaliy Danylyuk, claims that dealers have not received any instructions from the importer (regarding the suspension of sales).

This list is updated as current information is received from dealers and importers.
