Volkswagen Scirocco debuted in 1974. The first cars were assembled at the Karmann workshop, and the platform was unified with the VW Golf. Like many other models of the brand, this car was named after the wind — Sirocco. In 1992, the Scirocco gave way to the new VW Corrado model. However, in 2008, the model returned to the market, adding bright notes to the restrained design of the Volkswagen lineup.
