Volkswagen Amarok became the first pickup truck that the German brand developed independently. It was introduced in 2009. The model's name refers to a mythical lone wolf of enormous size. An entirely new ladder frame platform was created for this vehicle. The pickup is available with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Additionally, the Amarok was the first European pickup truck to officially appear on the Ukrainian market.
