The exterior of the new model was created by Kia's European studio with the direct involvement of Peter Schreyer, who can rightfully be considered a legend of automotive design.
The car received a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine T-GDI. Its power is 250 hp. It is known that only a front-wheel drive version is provided.

The car's dimensions are 4,885 mm in length, 1,870 mm in width, and 1,425 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,840 millimeters. The cargo loading assistance system is interesting. On the trunk floor there are 28 balls (rollers) that make it easy to move heavy bags into the car when loading heavy bags. But as soon as the engine is started, the balls lower by 3 mm, which is enough to prevent cargo from sliding.

So far, information that the Sportspace is a prototype of the new generation Optima in a station wagon body is not officially confirmed. How it will actually be, time will tell.
