But with the name, Citroen hit the mark. After all, having only front-wheel drive, their trip in the Aventure (translated as "adventure", "venture") can easily turn into a real adventure and a complete gamble.

However, across France, the Cactus Aventure can travel quite calmly. But how impressive this urban crossover looks in a jeep-style outfit! Underbody protection, wheel arch extensions, arches on the front and rear bumpers, an expedition roof rack with additional lights, off-road tires... Judging by its appearance – straight to the "Dakar"!

And it doesn't matter that behind this "show-off" hide petrol engines with 82 and 109 hp, or 92- and 100-horsepower diesels. As we already said, the drive is only front, but the transmission can be chosen between manual and robotic gearboxes. True, it's unclear what kind of off-road you can tackle with a regular robotic automatic transmission?

As we already wrote, Citroen presented the production version of the C4 Cactus in the first days of February 2014. In France, where sales of this model will start very soon, the Cactus will cost about four thousand euros less than the C4 hatchback. Prices for the model start from 14.5 thousand euros.
