The Renault City K-ZE is interesting primarily because of its price. In China, prices for this model start from $8,700, and on the Ukrainian market it is offered in the range of $13,000-15,000.

Some domestic companies are ready to bring the Renault City K-ZE to order, but there are already "live" examples of the model. In particular, the first Renault electric crossover was spotted in Ukraine on Kyiv roads in November 2020 (blue car), and in February 2021 such an electric car appeared in Odesa (white color). Recently, Autoportal found a couple of examples that are available for purchase – they are sold by Ecofactor.

One of the cars is a white Renault City K-ZE, priced at $14,500. The other car is a blue DongFeng E1 (the same K-ZE, but with different front and rear styling), priced at $13,700. Both cars are new (mileage 195 and 55 km, years of manufacture – 2019 and 2020 respectively) – probably, in the case of the white crossover, the buyer is offered to overpay for the brand. In terms of characteristics, both electric cars are identical: an electric motor with 45 hp and 125 Nm, a battery with a capacity of 26.8 kWh, a maximum speed of 105 km/h, and a range of 271 km according to the NEDC cycle.

The Renault City K-ZE and DongFeng E1 are produced in China.

Note that this model also has a European version – Dacia Spring. In the EU, the electric crossover is noticeably more expensive (from almost €17,000, but this does not include subsidies, the amount of which varies by country), but it is also more solid in terms of characteristics – the range is already 225 km according to the WLTP cycle (an indicator close to real), the maximum speed is increased to 125 km/h, and it also has improved safety systems on board.
