Residents of Kyiv and Odesa will be the first to be able to buy Ioniq cars. Staff of the capital's dealerships (Avtobereh, Bohdan-Auto, Olimp Motors Kyiv, Parytet, and Edem), as well as Odesa's Avtotradyng-Odesa and Bazys-Auto, have already undergone training in sales and service of Hyundai hybrid and electric models. Separate parking spaces for electric cars and charging stations designed for simultaneous charging of two vehicles will appear on the premises of these showrooms. By the end of August, Ioniq models will appear in all 40 dealerships of the Hyundai Motor Ukraine dealer network.
The Hyundai Ioniq Electric is the first production fully electric car in the brand's history, distinguished by impressive efficiency. The powertrain of the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid combines a 1.6 GDi Kappa gasoline engine with Atkinson cycle, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion polymer battery. The transmission is a 6-speed automated manual gearbox with dual clutches. The hybrid modification is available from 720,800 hryvnias.
