Skoda intends to discontinue production of the compact hatchback Citigo, which is a twin of the Volkswagen up! and Seat Mii models.
Skoda sales department head Peter Solka told Australian journalists that the company does not intend to create a successor for the Citigo model.
As the top manager noted, demand for A-class cars is steadily declining, so a second generation of this model will not appear.
Instead, the Czech automaker will focus efforts on developing crossovers — the company plans to double their number in the model lineup.
