According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Anatoliy Makarenko, the Ukrainian car market is currently going through difficult times. He noted that the fiscal service, together with the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers, signed a memorandum of cooperation. The main goal of this document is to ensure the most efficient and transparent process of importing cars into the country for businesses.
According to the data of the association "Ukrautoprom", in January-August 2014, import volumes decreased by 64% compared to the same period of the previous year. During this time, 90,995 vehicles were imported into Ukraine with a total value of 1.183 billion dollars. At the same time, passenger cars accounted for 873.3 million dollars.
