The capital's State Automobile Inspectorate has launched a system for informing drivers about road situations in real time. As reported by the deputy head of the Kyiv State Automobile Inspectorate, Oleksandr Tkachenko, a specialized computer was installed in the duty unit to implement this task.
The officer on duty will place a special State Automobile Inspectorate icon on the map of the Yandex.Traffic service to promptly inform motorists about accidents, closed road sections, and other obstacles on the way.
According to the publication "Vesti", the agency's further plans include publishing information about stolen vehicles. Thus, the State Automobile Inspectorate hopes to involve the public in searching for stolen cars and speed up their detection.
