The deal included four oil depots and 135 gas stations along with all related infrastructure. Previously, this network of gas stations was owned by former Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Eduard Stavitsky, as well as his business partner Andriy Byba.

For his part, Piper noted that in light of Ukraine's rapprochement with the European Union, he sees significant potential for the development of the Ukrainian fuel and energy market, so he intends to invest funds, but specific investment amounts are not yet disclosed. It is worth recalling that this summer a similar deal was concluded regarding the Ukrainian subsidiary of Lukoil — its shares were bought out by three Austrian citizens representing the company AMIC.

By the way, FreezeOil Fund is a holding structure from the Netherlands, created in 2014 with the aim of investing capital in the energy markets of Eastern Europe. The holding's official website contains only one statement — about the acquisition of BRSM-Nafta.
