However, such actions by the traffic police take place every year during this period. Inspectors go on duty near educational institutions and monitor road safety on the way of children to their places of study. Also, in the first days of the school year, schools hold lessons on road behavior rules and repeat traffic rules, particularly those concerning pedestrians.
In addition, the condition of roads near educational institutions is checked, as well as the presence of regulated pedestrian crossings and the "Caution Children" road sign.

The head of the Traffic Police Department, Anatoliy Sirenko, addressed all road users: "I appeal to drivers: do not forget that a child's behavior on the road is often unpredictable, so you should be especially attentive to the youngest road users."
We join the traffic police officer's request and, in turn, remind parents of the need to once again talk with their children and repeat the basic rules of road behavior. It would also be useful to walk the entire route from home to school with the child and point out potential dangers along the way.
