Initially, the atelier will offer a modified exhaust system for the new Corvette – as a result of the modifications, the power of the power unit will increase from 502 to 700 horsepower. Next, a rear-wheel-drive 1200-horsepower version with a pair of turbochargers and an upgraded dual-clutch transmission will appear. For both modifications, a carbon fiber body kit, reinforced Brembo brakes, adjustable suspension, and a special wheel set are provided.
For now, the difficulty lies in the fact that the new Corvette is protected from chip tuning. So, first of all, Hennessey specialists need to hack the system and gain access to the engine control unit.
