The mobile charging station can be placed almost anywhere — in city parking lots, near office buildings, or at large events.

The unit, equipped with batteries with a capacity of 360 kWh, can serve up to 15 electric vehicles, while four cars can charge their batteries simultaneously. Thanks to special technology, it will take about 17 minutes to replenish the energy reserve of one electric car.

The key feature of such installations is the absence of the need to connect to the power grid. When the charge drops below 20%, the device will itself go to replenish energy, and its place will be taken by a similar station.

The first such mobile charging points will appear in Wolfsburg, where Volkswagen's headquarters is located. Starting in 2020, they will begin to be installed in other German cities as well.
