The drone can stop for boarding and disembarking passengers at stopping points, which can be selected from the proposed list on the route. On the road, the car is guided by digital maps, navigation systems, and technical vision organs. Passengers are allowed to control the door opening system, as well as choose a stopping point for disembarkation.
The electric bus can only move on roads with hard surface at a speed of more than 100 km/h. During the test drive, in which the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated, the speed of the car was limited to 10 km/h. The body of the drone is made of composite materials, the frame is made using aluminum materials.
KAMAZ company plans to launch serial production of its unmanned vehicles in 2021-2022. According to the general director of the enterprise Irek Gumerov, first of all, legislative changes are needed for the production of such cars.
