The unique body paint will be available for the limited series of the Lexus LC Structural Blue Edition coupe.
The idea for such a paint was inspired by a butterfly from the genus Morpho, which boasts wings of an unusually deep and iridescent blue hue.

The specialists created a painting technology with a multilayer nanostructure containing a huge number of microscopic flakes capable of reflecting 100% of visible blue light, while ordinary paint reflects only 50%.
The Japanese call Structural Blue "the bluest body color of all existing ones."

Painting one car using the innovative technology requires a lot of time, so Lexus can produce only two examples of the LC Structural Blue Edition coupe per day.
