Porsche CEO Oliver Blume told the British press that the technical base for the new project is already ready, and negotiations with potential partners are in an active stage. At the same time, access to the brand's charging stations will be open to all electric vehicles, including Tesla products.

The stations are planned to use the fast charging technology developed last year for the Porsche Mission E concept. This system allowed the show car's energy reserve to be replenished to 80% in just a quarter of an hour.

Serial production of the Mission E electric car is scheduled for 2020, and by that time, Porsche will likely have managed to deploy its own network of fast charging stations.
