Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has shared plans for the brand's development. According to the new strategy, the Tesla electric truck will hit the market in 2017, and its development has already begun. In circles close to the company, the possibility of launching its own autonomous freight service is being discussed.
Additionally, next year Tesla intends to showcase an autonomous bus. This model will be more compact than its usual counterparts, as it will not require space for a driver. Passengers will be able to hail such transport by pressing a special button at stops.
Furthermore, the American manufacturer's lineup will include a pickup truck that will challenge such giants of the US market as the Ford F-150 and Dodge Ram.
