According to The Guardian, the manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and other appliances has received a state grant from the budget “for the development of new battery-powered cars.” The grant amounts to 16 million pounds.
In fact, this is a quite modest sum, because, for comparison, the company spent three times more just on the production of the latest Dyson hair dryer. But, according to rumors, the British company has been quietly developing in the automotive industry for several years already, so government funds could be a good help.
According to preliminary data, Dyson plans to present the concept of an electric car in 2018.
