According to him, the ten-speed gearbox will be installed on those front-wheel-drive cars that are currently equipped with 6-speed gearboxes. In particular, this applies to Honda and Acura models with a 3.5-liter gasoline engine.

The Japanese company claims that the new transmission is an independent development of the brand. According to experts, the 10-speed gearbox will reduce gear shifting time by 30%, improve fuel efficiency by 6%, and reduce acceleration by 14%.
