The restyled Golf will receive a new system for controlling functions using gestures. According to Volkswagen's development director Heinz-Jakob Neusser, this will be the first model in the golf class with such technology.
For the first time, the Germans hinted at a gesture recognition system by showing it on the Volkswagen Golf R Touch concept. The system consists of three displays and five special sensors. This will allow gestures to adjust the music volume or the temperature in the cabin. You must admit, it's convenient.
It should be noted that the updated Volkswagen Golf will debut at the end of 2016.
