Not long ago, it was in the United Arab Emirates, where it caused quite a stir. Launched on the initiative of a local sheikh, the Superbus will follow a route connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

This vehicle is definitely worth attention: inside, 23 passengers can be comfortably seated, and its price is comparable to that of a luxury yacht — about 17 million dollars.

Dutch designer Wubbo Ockels had big plans while working on this project. The number of doors opening upward like gull wings is impressive, and the vehicle also runs on electricity.

The unusual bus is driven by electric motors powered by a lithium-polymer battery, and there is also a system that recovers energy during braking. The unit's power is 408 horsepower, and it can be doubled in just one minute.

This giant weighs almost ten tons, and its length reaches fifteen meters. The frame and exterior panels are made of carbon fiber and modern synthetic materials, including Lexan.
