In China, various patriotic and somewhat propagandistic names are popular. For example: "Red Flag", "Our Sun Mao", "Red Star", "Tempered Steel" (Every Chinese person knows Ostrovsky's work – "How the Steel Was Tempered"), so "Brave Warrior" for a military-style car is just right.
The manufacturers provide for the release of a civilian version of the military workhorse BJ2022 Brave Warrior. And this version includes the installation of huge wheels on alloy rims, a chrome radiator grille and side steps along the sides of the car, lensed headlights, a giant roof rack and spotlights.

The consumer has access to two types of engines: a 2.7-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 147 hp and a 3.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel producing 135 hp. For the civilian version, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel with 134 hp and a torque of 340 Nm is provided. The maximum speed is 160 km/h.
