And although the British manufacturer has abandoned the idea of releasing a Bentley Mulsanne convertible, the family of the luxurious model is not limited to the regular sedan. The company presented to the world community a "charged" version of the Mulsanne, which will go into production, albeit in a limited edition. The new product will go on sale at the end of this year.

Externally, the Bentley Mulsanne Speed is no different from the "regular" sedan; the whole trick is under the hood. Engineers refined the 6.7-liter engine, as a result of which its power increased from 512 to 537 hp, and torque - from 1020 to 1100 Nm. In addition, the manufacturer changed the compression ratio, modernized the intake ports, combustion chamber, fuel injectors, and also refined the valve timing and superchargers.

The modernized engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new product reaches the first 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds faster than the acceleration of the "regular" modification. At the same time, the maximum speed limit was also adjusted - instead of 296, it became 305 km/h.
